In 2000, I began my career in the title industry as a word processor for First American Title in Concord, CA. As the word processing department was phased out, I was rotated around the title plant learning various aspects of the process. By the time the plant closed the division through consolidation, I was searching residential properties and creating policies.
I re-located to Orange County, CA, to continue in the title industry and began working for Fidelity National Title, Irvine, CA. I was fortunate enough to be trained in back plant searches in the Colton Title Back Plant. While there I became a specialist in searching properties from metes and bounds through subdivision creations. As title companies re-vamped and re-organized, I was able to be continuously employed moving between Fidelity, First American and then LPS Default.
While at LPS Default, I wrote their company focused "California Guidebook for Examiners" in both a comprehensive and simplified versions. Both versions were used for training until the company closed it doors.
From 2008 through 2011, I worked remotely for LPS Default Services.
